Simulatoren som drives af Simex Aviation Traning, er baseret p\u00e5 en Boeing 737-800 og er en Fixed Based Simulator, hvilket betyder at den ikke er monteret p\u00e5 en hydraulisk platform, men simulerer stadig alle systemer, kontakter, knapper og styrekontroller ned til mindste detalje. Flyvegenskaberne er baseret p\u00e5 data fra Boeing og ligger dermed helt t\u00e6t op af virkeligheden. Alt dette styres af i alt 6 high-end computere.<\/span><\/p>\n

Det visuelle system giver et 220 graders wrap-around-view, hvilket g\u00f8r man man trods manglende bev\u00e6gelse stadig f\u00f8ler bev\u00e6gelse, da ens sanser snydes optisk.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bagerst er der en instrukt\u00f8rstation med en touchsk\u00e6rm, hvorfra instrukt\u00f8ren med et tryk kan repositionere flyet til en lufthavn i hele verden, lave fejl p\u00e5 flyets systemer, loade tr\u00e6ningsscenarier og ikke mindst overv\u00e5ge piloternes f\u00e6rdigheder.<\/span><\/p>\n

Herfra kan instrukt\u00f8ren ogs\u00e5 programmere vejret, som kan s\u00e6ttes op efter eget \u00f8nske, mens det er ogs\u00e5 muligt at downloade virkelighedens vejr ind i simulatorens virtuelle verden, og s\u00e5ledes at hvis der eksempelvis er regn og rusk i Kastrup, s\u00e5 vil du opleve det samme i simulatoren.<\/span><\/p>\n

I alt 32 h\u00f8jtalere og 8 subwoofere s\u00f8rger for at s\u00e6tte den rigtige atmosf\u00e6re, s\u00e5ledes at n\u00e5r man tr\u00e6der ind i cockpittet, vil man hurtigt glemme at man er i en simulator.<\/span><\/p>\n
